HCM is the term which is used to describe an organization’s integrated approach to optimizing the capabilities and performance of its management and employees.   • Company Directory. Users have the ability to access SAP HR in order to retrieve a particular colleague’s contact information or find a colleague in a particular position.
  • Employee and Manager Self Service (ESS/MSS) activities including maintaining personal information such as address, bank details, etc.
  • Check Leave Balance. Users are able to access SAP HR via a smartphone device for up to date information on leave balances.
  • Create Leave Requests. Users are able to create a leave request and send to SAP for automatic dispatch (including email notifications) to an appropriate manager for assessment and subsequent approval or rejection.
  • Check Request Status. Once an approval request has been submitted, the creator has the ability to check the status of any request, including leave, time and expense or timesheet approval status.
  • Enter Time/ Expense Requests. Users are able to submit timesheets and expense approval information direct into SAP for automatic dispatch to an appropriate manager for assessment and subsequent approval or rejection.
  • Approve Requests. Managers have the ability to assess requests via their smartphone device, including leave, time and expense or timesheet approval requests and approve, reject or request more information.
